An Anniversary

This past weekend was my in-laws 60th wedding anniversary. I had remembered a shopping trip with them about a year ago where my mother-in-law remarked on how much she loved these knitted pillow shams at Pottery Barn. I used a pattern for the cabled pillow and modified it slightly. The "A" pillow was actually a pattern I had begun for a Felted Loopy Purse from Lion Brand Yarns and I never quite finished the 20 yard rope.... I think it looks better as a pillow. I sure hope you will give these patterns a try.

also whipped up about 24 cakes in a jar in 3 varieties...more info on the recipes soon

60 years, that's great!

I adore both of those pillows! I put the cabled one in my to do list, it's perfect! Great job!

Tracy,
I can't find your email but was wondering how I could get the pattern for the duplicate stitch and french knot for the Oodles Of Poodles Afghan?

Thanks

Absolutely beautiful! I love your photographs. I can't seem to find a contact e-mail address for you on your site. I wanted to ask your permission to refer people to your YouTube magic circle video.

Wow! You do such neat and beautiful things! :)

I don't have your email so am contacting you here. I'm sorry you didn't get your journal back yet. I thought Mindy and I got the other journals all done early, but didn't realize yours was still here. Kelly was to receive it next (the last one still in the game to get it - the others who did not get it dropped out of the circle) but it has been so long that I shipped it off to YOU instead. Kelly is probably expecting it from an email I sent. I hope you both aren't upset with me for sending it to you not her! I just figured you waited long enough to get it back! I'm still waiting for mine too (as is Mindy); I pray we all get our books back. You may consider emailing Kelly to see if she still wants to enter something in your book. Perhaps you could send her just the blank paper to work on and send back to you (rather than sending the whole book). Feel free to email me - corine.miles@gmail.com
I hope you enjoy your journal! :D You will be getting it soon. :)
